NHS Scotland

Through NHS Education for Scotland (NES), NHS healthcare professionals in Scotland have trusted knowledge at their fingertips, with online access to BNF and BNF for Children, Stockley’s Drug Interactions, Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference and Martindale’s ADR Checker, Palliative Care Formulary, Herbal Medicines, Kucers’ the Use of Antibiotics, Drug Administration via Enteral Feeding Tubes and Critical Illness.

"Since 2010 NHS Education for Scotland has invested in digital library content on behalf of all the NHS and social services workforce including local authority, third and independent sector staff in Scotland. The national subscriptions support the principle of ‘once for Scotland’ and ensures equity of access to evidence for practice and learning for all.

The suite of resources provided through the MedicinesComplete platform are essential to support the day-to-day practice of not only pharmacists and medicines information staff, but also medics, non-medical prescribers and a wide-range of professionals. The key nature of these resources is demonstrated by the consistently high usage and positive feedback we receive.

NES are grateful for Scottish Government's Pharmacy & Medicines Division for their contribution to enable the continued provision of these resources".
